Scott, Kinney & Fjelstad Attorneys at Law
Representing Injured and Disabled Workers and IndividualsThank you for visiting our Web site. You will find some basic information you may need to protect your legal rights, and of course you will learn about us, and what we offer our clients. If you think we can help, we’d appreciate a chance to talk to you. Of course, there is no fee for this preliminary evaluation. Our fees are contingent on the outcome of the case, which means we don’t get paid until we produce some real results for you. Our clients have the option of paying hourly fees, but rarely chose to do so.
We are on the side of workers and citizens – individuals, not corporations. We handle accident and work claims of all kinds: automobile accidents, worker’s compensation claims, insurance claims, wage and hour violations, disability insurance, social security, and employment discrimination based on gender, age, religion, disability or sexual harassment. We handle injuries that occur on construction sites, factory floors, offices, warehouses, roadways, stores, what-have-you. We make a point of telling our clients what they need to hear, not what we think they may want to hear. If we determine at our initial consultation that your issues are relatively simple, we let you know the steps you can take to resolve your problem without an attorney. If we determine that you are better off with another firm for some reason, we will refer you to the appropriate attorneys. Whether we accept your case, refer you to someone else, or recommend resolution without legal counsel, we provide valuable information to everyone who brings their legal concerns to us. Former clients, fellow lawyers, and doctors we have dealt with in the course of our cases often refer individuals to us, demonstrating respect and trust in us, and confidence in the results the lawyers of Scott, Kinney & Fjelstad Attorneys at Law obtain. Contact Scott, Kinney & Fjelstad Attorneys at Law to schedule a free initial consultation regarding workers' compensation, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claim, or any type of accidental injury or employment law matter. |

Brian Scott, Jay Kinney, Daniel Fjelstad and James Grutz (of counsel) have been partners for years and have over 80 years of combined legal experience. Our associates Donna Mack and Rachel Scott bring additional energy and fresh perspectives to our firm. The firm traces its roots back to the 1950s, when it was began by Roy Jackson, Thor Ulvestad and Daniel Goodwin. One of our strengths is the collected experience passed down to the current generation.
